The author believed that the goal of acceleration program for gifted children was to provide a chance to skip grades rather than hindering their development because of lacking proper installment. However‚ acceleration program was only a method‚ and the true goal was to help children reach their greatest potential and satisfy the needs. Thus‚ the author considered that it was important to cultivate them via holistic education. |
