The author interviewed three gifted students who won the first prize in National Science Exhibition in 1987‚ Taiwan. They were Yan Sheng-Hong (Zhong-Xiao junior high school)‚ Hu Zheng-Heng (Ren-Ai junior high school) and Luo Zhong-Quan (Ying-Qiao junior high school). The author brought up some similar characteristics among them: (1) Modesty (2) Politeness (3) Self-confidence (4) Good interpersonal relationships (5) Study hard and with great concentration (6) With great versatility (7) Make arrangements well. (8) Family provided them with great learning environments. In the end of the article‚ the author brought up some problems of recommended enrollment in Taiwan and she hoped that we could provide the best learning environment for gifted students to help them reach their greatest potential. |
