摘  要 Developed by Howard Gardner? Multiple Intelligence Theory suggests that we all have our own specialized field? where we process information or absorb knowledge in a way that is unique to each of us. This proposal sheds new light on the traditional gifted education? and will be conducive to our current gifted programs as well. Discussing how the theory has inspired gifted education? this paper was divided into three sections: introduction to the Multiple Intelligence Theory? how the theory relates to gifted programs? and how the theory inspires gifted programs. Eventually? it would wrap up by addressing eight issues: administration of the authorities? concept of giftedness? learning disabled? teacher education? curriculum design? teaching strategies? assessment and evaluation? screening and identification. It is hoped that this paper will breathe new life into current gifted programs in Taiwan.
