Independent research is a good way of learning for gifted students. Students could not only obtain higher leveled learning and motivation‚ but also learn to design researches and gain complete learning experiences when doing independent researches. Students often choose research topics from their everyday interests. Independent research plans (including topic‚ questions‚ resources and information collection methods) are completed before summer vacation. Student-teacher meetings must be included in the process to solve problems during the research and share the results. A sample of independent research plan was provided in the article. |
