摘 要 |
Low-achieving gifted students may intend to have negative self concept and distrust toward others. How to guide such students? The author believed that we should hold the following principles: (1) Cut down comparison between gifted students with high and low achievement. (2) Accept them through accepting people with similar difficulties. (3) Make them immerse into curriculum which provide them with experiences of achievements. (4) Make them experience the feeling of success. (5) Develop their social and leading abilities. The actual strategies are: (1) Giving support: teachers should play the role as a supporter and admirer to help them to feel being valued. (2) Peer interaction: help them gain the feeling of being accepted through learning to trust friendships. (3) Learning activities: teachers could provide them with relevant materials and help them share knowledge and information with others. Through the activities‚ students could affirm their abilities‚ and then hold a proper anticipation of themselves. |
