摘 要 |
Recent years have seen several breakthroughs regarding intellectual construction theories. Among them‚ the Multiple Intelligences Theory and the Triarchic Theory of Intelligence brought up by H. Gardner and R.J. Sternberg respectively were the prototypes. This paper attempted to integrate the two points of view with the concept of Successful Intelligence‚ saying that the making of a successful life requires a balanced development of academic intelligence‚ personal (social) intelligence‚ practical intelligence and creative intelligence. Among the four intelligences‚ personal intelligence serves as the core element as well as the catalyst for the other three. While measuring and enhancing it is no easy task‚ personal intelligence remains a factor of high value that is worth exploring. |
