The article is based on the discussion of "Autonomous Learner Model? ALM". Firstly? it introduces the development and spreads situation of ALM. Secondly? it explains the goal and content structure of the model; and provides the applications on gifted education through administration of principles and phases. It also provides examples to explain the structure and goal of curriculum design. Finally? the author wishes gifted students could go through the cultivation and training from ALM; further to be lifelong learners who have positive voluntarily leaning ability? attitude and contribution to the new century.
