| 摘 要 |
Gifted children‚ unlike their average counterparts‚ are different in their learning and psychological characteristics; therefore‚ some typical problems in adapting to the society may occur. These problems may further lead to negative interpersonal interactions and affect their self-concept and self-development. In this paper‚ the author aimed to discuss the adaptational difficulties gifted students are faced with. Several issues were covered to probe into the topic‚ including imbalanced physical and psychological development‚ overexcitibility‚ interpersonal perception‚ self-identification and over-expectation from adults.
