摘 要 This follow-up study aims to investigate how students graduated from the gifted class of Ming-Sheng Elementary School adjust themselves in junior high school and the bridging problem of gifted education. A total of 12 male students and 5 female students filled out the questionnaire‚ among which 14 went on to Jieshou Junior High School‚ 2 in Dun-Hua Junior High and 1 in New York Presbyterian Church School. The reason why municipal junior high schools are among their top choices‚ as shown in the results‚ is the appeal of these schools within the district. The 17 students expressed satisfaction of their lives and classes as seventh graders‚ and they have adapted well to the environment. Another result shows that gifted students have a dislike for rote learning. The survey found that education pathways for gifted elementary school students are limited‚ hence the bridging problems of gifted education. The author proposes that gifted education at the junior high level could be conducted through cross-district programs or weekend camps.
