摘 要 |
Translated from an article written by H. Passow on G/C/T‚ March-April 1987 edition‚ this paper aims to generate thoughts on the many questions and expectations Passow raised in the article. It is hoped that readers would then seek to find the objectives and philosophy of gifted education courses. The original text is divided into two parts: the trend in gifted education courses and questions the author raised. In the former part‚ the author points out that instead of claiming it an actual trend‚ we should call it a hope‚ hoping that we have a more comprehensive course outlines and that we have realized that the courses for gifted children already transcend the boundaries of classrooms and schools. In the second part‚ the author stated that if we wish to fulfill our responsibilities for gifted children‚ we should be able to grasp hold of the questions. For example‚ what courses could help cultivate the leadership skills in these youth? What goals are aimed in such leadership trainings? What courses could help them understand the ethics and morals of contemporary technology. The author suggested that only after we fully master these questions could we prepare our children for their future. |
