摘 要 |
Early-stage professional musical education in our country offered only musical departments in universities and colleges. Elementary school‚ junior high school and senior high school were deficient in special classes devoted to musical education. Consequently‚ the capacity of musical departments could not meet demand and musical education lacked a consistent cultivating system. Responding to the great demand of fine-culture workers after the completion of the Ten Major Construction Projects‚ the government has from 1973 set up musical gifted classes in elementary‚ junior high and senior high schools around the island. It has been 14 years since then. The author suggests that some experiments in musical gifted classes should be reviewed and problems should be solved. Therefore this article analyzes the systems of both pullout and separate musical gifted classes and elaborates respectively their advantages and disadvantages. In the conclusion‚ the author points out that after considering the pros and cons of both systems‚ the pullout program still preferable as long as its problems can be corrected‚ which includes student isolation‚ self-abasedness‚ and arrogance. |
