摘  要 In terms of applied research‚ researches on gifted education aim to solve practical problems in implementation. In basic researches‚ researches on gifted education seek to verify educational theories and analyze educational policies and social values. Basic procedures for such researches comprise of selecting the topic‚ literature review‚ defining the problem‚ establishing hypothesis‚ drafting the design‚ collecting information‚ analyzing the information and composing the report. System analysis include task analysis‚ functional analysis‚ work analysis and instrumental analysis. Researches on gifted education around the nation cover three main areas: creativity‚ cognition and self-concept. This paper lists the result from an survey which shows the research directions for development‚ cognition‚ education and social culture. In terms of "dots‚" researches on gifted education are based on direct factors influencing individual gifted students. In terms of "lines‚" they focus mainly on the investigation of organizational characteristics (large sample groups). In terms of "plane‚" such researches analyze the ideas‚ systems and regulations from a general‚ common and spatial perspective. This paper presents the major research content of gifted education researches in all aspects.
