摘  要 The author teaches a gifted class in Yin-Quiao Elementary School in Taipei City. Lesson plans and activities by teachers from an annual exhibition of teaching materials for gifted education inspire the author to collect and organize these materials and later propose ten categories as basic trainings. She believes these activities can really help instructing the gifted and talented to use IEP‚ while children can use these activities to come up with small but systematic research plans. Teachers may find thousands more inspirations from examples provided. They may use them to enrich lessons. The ten categories are: 1.Knowledge training 2.Exploring 3.Fieldtrips 4.Data collections 5.Research discussions 6.Interviewing celebrities 7.Compiling results 8.Problem solving 9.Observation and experiments 10.Special lectures Examples for each category are also provided‚ hoping to inspire more fun activities from teachers to further benefit students.
