摘 要 |
The article delves into the effect of learning strategies on short and long-term memory among elementary pupils. It also discusses whether students have a set of learning strategies of their own. Subjects were top-ten‚ third-grade students from gifted resource classes in Bai Ling Elementary School. Research tools were assembled according to the purpose of the study. Result shows the following: 1.Among the effects of six learning strategies on short-term memory‚ experimental and control groups had significant differences in post-test scores on four particular strategies: the use of acronyms‚ associations‚ visualized spatial organization and key words. 2.In the effects of learning strategies on long-term memory‚ only on two strategies‚ visualized spatial organization and key words‚ do the experimental and control group show significant differences in scores on deferring tests. |
