The 5th Asia-Pacific Conference on Gifted Education was held on Sep.2-5‚ 1998 in New Dehli‚ with four Taiwanese scholars attending. In addition to discussing conference topics such as gifted education programs and multiple intelligence‚ this paper analyzed the Indian society and the characteristics of gifted education from a cultural comparative perspective. Several suggestions were made at the end of the paper. |
