摘 要 |
Suicidal problems have been a major issue among gifted students‚ with the family and individual playing the crucial role. Gifted students are more emotionally perceptive and sensitive than others‚ and possess a greater ability to transfer their perception to cognitive and emotional experiences. They also show the characteristics of overexcitabilities‚ which lies in five psychic domains‚ including psychomotor‚ sensual‚ intellectual‚ imaginational and emotional. If not dealt with appropriately‚ such emotional problems would lead to suicidal behaviors. Therefore‚ for gifted individual with suicidal attempts‚ assessments should be conducted to both the family and the individual‚ while enforcing family‚ school counseling and psychological therapy.
