The article refers to: (1) the meaning of self-regulated learning (2) the importance of self-regulated learning for gifted students (3) the features of self-regulated learning for gifted students which include the motive of learning and metacognition (4) conclusion: self-regulated learning is the feature of gifted students‚ that is different to the feature of intelligence‚ because self-regulated learning could be learnt. Thus‚ self-regulated learning is not only to be the item of gifted education for gifted students but to be the main item of learning guidance‚ particular in low-achievements gifted students.
