Differing from the cross-sectional study of gifted education? the follow-up study of gifted students attempt to make records regularly or trace the growth development of the gifted so as to figure out the difference between the gifted and the ordinary students. Generally speaking? there are two main emphases of Taiwan follow-up study of the gifted? including longitudinal analyses for growth and development of the gifted? and the influence of the gifted education on the gifted. In view of this? the follow-up studies of the gifted? a subsequent examination for reviewing new findings? are still recommended to receive more attention in the area of gifted education. |
