2005 Intel International Science and Engineering Fair was held in Phoenix‚ Arizona from May 8 to 14. Taiwan was awarded one "The Most Outstanding Team"‚ 5 items of "Award of the Fair"‚ and 7 items of "Special Award". These outstanding outcomes were the best among Asian countries. To nurture more gifted/talented students for our country‚ the author then raised suggestions on (1) encouraging participation of more students in attending science exhibition and science projects; (2) enacting laws and regulations on recommendation into universities and the following guidance.
